  • As of July 1, 2008, the interest rate on subsidized Stafford Loans for undergraduate students is 6.0%. The interest rate on unsubsidized Stafford Loans for undergraduate students is 6.8%. The interest rate on both subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans for graduate students is 6.8%.
  • 1% origination fee.
  • KHEAA covers the guarantee fee (Kentucky only).
  • Repayment generally begins six months after graduation or when you are no longer enrolled at least half-time.
